June 2025 - Newsletter

Welcome to our latest Newsletter.

This newsletter include details of some new items (including Craft Kits) and an update on Royal Mail pricing.

Craft Bits New Items

The following items have been put online in the last couple of months.

Keep an eye on our Customer Forum for details of new items - we always post on there soon after they go online.

We have had Polystyrene 7cm Balls and 10cm Eggs in stock for a while, mainly for Nudinits Dolls (yes nude dolls, so we can't add a picture here), so on the run up to Easter we decided to sell more sizes of Eggs too.

We now have 3 more sizes in stock - 6cm, 7cm & 8cm. These are perfect for crafting of all sorts, not just the ones below. We can get other shapes on request such as the wreath below and other sizes of balls.

We do have a small yarn section for customers who knit or crochet toys, we also have short Knitting Needles, Crochet Hooks and some Accessories, including Gift Sets.

The newest Gift Sets we have online is a Kleiber Knitting Accessory Set - 52 items in a handy box.

The box includes a Tape Measure, Needle Protectors, Cable Needles, Stitch Holders, Wool Needles, Stitch Markers, a Stitch Unpicker and Thread Scissors. You can see the full list on the Forum Post about this item.

As mentioned above, we also stock a few Crafting Accessories such as Tape Measures, PomPom Makers, Pin Cushions, Buttons, French Knitter and much more.

The latest items are these lovely Retractable Tape Measures featuring Frozen II characters. There are 3 designs and the picture below shows both sides of each one.

The tape is 60 inch / 150cm and you press the padded sides to retract the tape.

Royal Mail Pricing

In our December 2024 Newsletter we told you about the very high rise in our postage costs.

We had quite a few customers contact us and many said, while they liked Royal Mail, if we needed to move to another company they would support us.

Luckily sense prevailed, after many months, and lots of emails to and fro, including with the CEO, they adjusted our prices back down to an acceptable rise plus refunded the extra we had paid while it was sorted out. We have left the P+P cost to you the same for this year.

This price should be the same now until November as it is a yearly contract, we hope they do not do this again; we will keep you informed

Craft Kits Website

Craft Kits is one of our Sister websites, along with Dianne's Knitting Yarns. We include new items from CK in our Newsletters as we know a lot of our customers also shop with CK, who do not have a Newsletter of their own. DKY do have a newsletter and you can sign up for that on their Updates Page

Full details of new kits can be found on the Craft Kits section of our Forum and on the New Items page on the CK website.

Our biggest seller is Mouseloft Cross Stitch Kits probably because it is our biggest section as we keep every single current kit they produce in stock. The following are the newest kits.

Each kit contains 14 count Aida, threads, needle and full instructions. The designs will fit within a 64mm diameter circle for framing or cards.
