Spring 2020 - Newsletter
Welcome to our first Newsletter of 2020.
We have a few new items plus some exciting news about the new website and packaging
Craft Bits New Items
The following items have been put online in the last couple of months.
Keep an eye on our Customer Forum for details of new items - we always post on there soon after they go online.
In our last newsletter all the links went to our temporary new website on cpu-enterprises.com while we got ready to go live on craftbits.co.uk.
We are very please to announce that a couple of weeks ago our new website was uploaded and is fully working. The temporary website has been removed but any link you have to that site will automatically go to the new website.
We would love some feedback on the new website which is called a "responsive design" meaning it adapts to the size of your screen. So whether you view on Mobile, Tablet or Desk-Top, you should be able to read the text well and have large enough clickable areas.
We visited the Spring Fair at NEC in February, this is a massive trade fair taking up 14 halls and is so large we didn't get to see it all.
We knew there would be none of our suppliers attending, but we wanted to see what the trends were and to see if we could find else anything interesting.
What we did find was a very small stand about Packaging. What excites us about them is that their Mail Bags are made from 100% recycled material AND they are also 100% recyclable. We have a few samples which we will be using on parcels to a few regular customers to see what they think. If you would like to be included please let us know.
We are also talking to them about other things we use a lot of - bubble wrap, grip seal bags and tape - they hope to have more sustainable products in the near future.
They do cost a little more than regular bags but we think they will be worth it. Please let us know what you think about all this. Will you recycle them? Would you be willing to pay more on P+P to help cover the cost? Or do you reuse the packaging we send already?
